40 Years Down The Track Kirinari’s 40 years are represented by the swirls emanating from the centre of this painting. The dots People who were instrumental in founding Kirinari are symbolised in the adjacent ring. The stylised chain indicates the unity in their desire to make this a reality. Boomerangs symbolise “return”. To the founders of Kirinari the “return” for their efforts would be the gratification of seeing many of the students become successful. Four decades are also represented by the “flowers” on an evergreen vine suggesting Kirinari will always be a growing institution. This painting is to commemorate this 40th anniversary, but it is also dedicated to the memory of Bert Groves “Boodjree Be Angar Goolee”.
