OUR ACHIEVERS

Leonard and Tegan completed their Higher School Certificate exams and are now preparing to enter the workforce. Tegan is enrolled in a Hairdressing Apprenticeship course at Orange TAFE. Leonard is seeking an apprenticeship in one of the building trades. Their hard work and perseverance has been worthwhile.

Six years ago their families realised that Kirinari offered its students a chance to gain an education that would enable them to get good employment and be able to advance their lifestyles.

Everyone should have that opportunity and these two young people have grasped the nettle. We wish them well.

A tried and positive contribution to Reconciliation is Aboriginal Children's Advancement Society's support of our Aboriginal children and youth in their education. Their progress towards a worthwhile and productive future ensures the fulfillment of ambition, talent and initiative. The Society welcomes your contribution to its continued involvement in the advancement of our Aboriginal people.
