ACAS — acronym for Aboriginal Children’s Advancement Society. The Society built the first Kirinari Aboriginal Students Hostel in 1967. ACAS stands for the rights of Aboriginal children to a good education. |

Aboriginal Children’s Advancement Society was formed in 1963 in answer to a call to Sutherland Shire citizens to make amends for the circumstances that had led to the unjust treatment of Aborigines. |

Reconciliation Aboriginal Children’s Advancement Society aims to achieve Practical Reconciliation through the education of Aboriginal children attending Secondary High School. |
